Basic Polvoron Recipe


  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup powdered milk
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 2 tsp. margarine

Cooking Instructions:

  1.  Put pan over medium heat. When it is warm, grease it evenly with margarine.
  2. Pour all-purpose flour, powdered milk, and sugar into pan.
  3.  Turn down heat. Mix ingredients thoroughly until light brown.
  4. Remove from heat to prevent overcooking.
  5.  Add margarine and mix further.
  6. Wrap 2 tablespoons separately in candy paper to make several pieces.
