Lumpiang Hubad Recipe


150g ubod, cut into strips
1 pc onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, chopped
2 pcs carrots, cut into strips
2 pcs sinkamas, cut into strips
1 pc Knorr shrimp cubes

For the Sauce:
½ cup brown sugar
1 cup water
½ tbsp soy sauce
½ tbsp garlic minced
2 tbsp peanut ground
1 tbsp cornstarch
2 tbsp water


1. In a preheated pan saute onions and garlic, then add knorr shrimp cubes, mashed then saute for another minute.2. Add vegetables over high heat until cooked but still crisp. Season according to taste.3. In a separate pot, combine brown sugar, water and soy sauce and bring to a boil.

4. Thicken this with cornstarch diluted with water (slurry). Add garlic and peanut.

5. Mix well and half to the sauteed vegetables.

6. Serve with remaining sauce with extra chopped garlic and nuts.
